The Lunatic WithinWinner of the

The Lunatic Within offers nine
colorful views of of unusual quirks and quandaries.
Actors, directors, and artistic directors love its wide
variety of moods and range of types and ages. The play's
flexible structure also allows for easy adjustment of
length to accommodate time constraints or particular
interests. The Lunatic Within
has been enjoyed by audiences throughout the United
States, as well as Canada and Australia. All nine scenes
and monologues have also been produced as individual
short plays, including several which have won awards or
appeared in anthologies. In this fast-paced, highly
entertaining comedy, three to thirteen actresses portray
scenes ranging from the comically familiar and
emotionally touching to the broadly outlandish.
All scenes may be performed on the same unit set.
Running time is approximately 105 minutes.
While captivating in its entirety, the four
two-person scenes and five monologues are also available
separately. These include The Witching Hour, The Future,
Computer Dreams, Breakdown, Ashes to Ashes, Party
Animals, Tea Time, and The Chocolate Solution.
